A Retrofit Conflict means a change being carried back to another landscape overlaps with something already there, so ReleaseOwl has paused rather than overwrite it automatically. Automated retrofit only moves *non-conflicting* changes forward on its own; anything that conflicts waits for you to resolve it deliberately.
      The resolution flow:
      1. Open the transport request showing the **Retrofit Conflict** status.
      2. Find the object that has the conflict.
      3. Click the **error icon** against the Retrofit Conflict status to see the error detail.
      4. Rectify the error, then click **Resolve**.
      5. Confirm (OK) — the status updates.
      6. Click **Continue Retrofit** to proceed; the retrofit completes.
The one thing to avoid is resolving a conflict by blind overwrite. Read the error detail and reconcile the two versions deliberately — that’s the whole point of ReleaseOwl flagging it instead of silently merging.
**[VERIFY]** The exact technique to “rectify” a conflict varies by object type (e.g. overlapping table entries vs. object overwrites). For a specific conflict type, share the details in a reply and we can walk through it.
